A Taste of History: 20 Years of Washington Wines

Date:  July 17, 2008

Location: WSU Tri-Cities, 2770 University Drive, Richland, WA 99354

This is a rare opportunity to taste library wines dating back to 1987 at an exclusive fundraiser for the WSU Tri-Cities viticulture and enology program. Proceeds support scholarships and the demonstration vineyard on the Richland campus. The guided tasting is led by Bob Betz, Master of Wine and co-owner of Betz Family Winery; Andy Perdue, Wine Press Northwest editor; and Albert Coke Roth III, attorney and international wine judge. Wines represent the history of Woodward Canyon Winery, Gordon Brothers Cellars, Columbia Winery and Chateau Ste. Michelle. Doors open at 5 p.m. The tasting is followed by a reception with the vintners. Seating is limited to 70.
